Collaboration

Sabrina Bosco

New York based artist Sabrina Bosco, @comfortablefields paints with watercolor to illustrate colorful meets psychedelic works of art. We sat down with Sabrina to ask her a few questions about her design process, inspirations, and her new t-shirt “Growth” with Stance.

Tell us about yourself and where you are from?

My name is Sabrina and I’m 26 years old. I love to make art, mostly I watercolor paint but I also like to experiment with other mediums. I’m passionate about veganism and social justice movements. I’m from New York and have lived there all my life.

Where did your inspiration to become an artist come from?

I always made art since I was little, and then started to make it more and create my own style over time. Getting tattooed inspired me a lot to draw too and made me want to learn how to draw in hopes I would eventually tattoo!

Outside of art what do you like to do?

I like to sing and dance and write poetry! I also like to hike and climb mountains when I get the chance to.

How did you connect with Stance? What was it about the brand that made you agree to work with us?

Stance reached out to me, and after checking out their website I thought it was super cool that they supported small artists and have sustainably sourced clothing!

Can you tell us about the artwork from your Stance t-shirt “Growth"? Where did the inspiration come from?

The inspiration came from the idea of growth being a process of many layers and emotions. That’s why there are multiple leaves with flowers that match the tears, and I imagine the flower grows and everything keeps layering endlessly into new forms, just like all us do!
