ROOTED IN SKATEBOARDING
Skate culture runs through Lucas’s work. Its creativity, independence and sense of community have helped shape an approach that moves freely between art and everyday life.
His paintings bring abstract forms and imaginary characters together in unexpected ways. Shapes overlap, figures connect and playful details invite you to look a little longer. There’s a sense of freedom to it, with humour and warmth running through the bold outlines.
ART THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
That connection extends beyond the canvas. With his book HEART, Lucas celebrated independent skate shops and the people who make them an essential part of skate culture.
Stance supported his HEART tour, creating shop-specific Icon socks for the communities gathering at each stop. It was a chance to celebrate the shop owners, staff and skaters who give those spaces their identity.
A NEW CANVAS
Our latest collaboration brings Lucas’s distinctive artwork to two casual sock styles and snow socks. His expressive designs carry through the collection, giving each style a character of its own.
