Continuing its Social Club events, Stance hosted a VIP dinner event at legendary restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles Pico location with a mix of Punks & Poets, friends, media, and family.
In 1975, Harlem native Herb Hudson headed to the West Coast on a mission to bring authentic soul food to Los Angeles. Drawing in countless celebrities and even the likes of former President Barack Obama, Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles has become one of city's most iconic food establishments. Thousands of hungry patrons flock to the greater LA area each year eager to try Roscoe's famous golden-hued fried chicken alongside a stack of crispy waffles. Some 40 years later, the legendary restaurant celebrates another year of satisfied and loyal customers with fellow Southern California brand, Stance.
All guests were treated to custom made Stance x Roscoe's syrup bottles, one pair of the exclusive Stance x Roscoe’s socks and a delicious chicken & waffle dinner.
Some of the attendees included Ben Baller, Jason Markk, LA artist Patrick Martinez, Estevan Oriol, Neckface and Yuichi Ichi & Chris Stamp from Stampd. Youtube personalities Jacques Spade, Qias Omar along with Stance Punk & Poets Aleali May, Neen Williams, Lizard King and Mitch Abshere among many others.
Stance collaborated with the world famous Los Angeles resturant on an exclusive sock collection featuring a 200-needle style using Roscoe’s famous Chicken and Waffle logo on a solid black sock, as well as a covered print design using a chicken drumstick and waffle illustration on a solid white sock. The collection is available on April 19th exclusively at all Roscoe’s restaurant locations and at www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com.
