Stance is proud to debut Punk and Poet, pro snowboarder Jill Perkins' new signature performance snow and casual crew socks for Fall 2021. Heading into the snow season, we caught up with Jill to learn what she has been up to during the Summer and what she’s excited for this upcoming snow season… enjoy the ride.
1. What have you been up to during the summer?
This is has been a summer for the books! I’ve been spending my time in Portland, Oregon where I was able to head over to Timberline Resort up on Mt. Hood. I spent a lot of time hanging up at High Cascade. I’m currently answering these questions at Leucadia skate spot on a surf and skate road trip from Portland to San Diego. Really no complaints. Good food, good people, good laughs.
2. Im sure you’re excited to get back on the mountain. Any specific places you have planned to visit this winter?
Oh, I’m so hyped! I’m supposed to go to Innsbruck in November which I’m hyped about. Also always excited to get back to Brighton Resort and Woodward Park City! Both amazing places.
3. Tell us about your first signature socks from Stance? Where does the artwork come from?
First off, I am so incredibly honored for the opportunity. I reached out to Hannah Eddy to take the reins on this one. She’s a talented angel and drew concepts based off of some of my favorite things: the elements and their beauty. All based around good fun!
4. What’s your set up looking like this season?
I ride the Ride Zero... hands down my favorite board. Vans boots - the OGs, can’t go wrong! I also like the OG Pros (which are a little stiffer), and of course Stance performance snow socks.
5. What’s ahead going in the end of the year and 2022?
Hoping to keep the good times rolling! Setting up a couple things. Working with Vans on a project, hopefully link with the dustbox and hang around Utah. Super excited to get involved and travel and work with all the friends!
