Choreographer Franklin Yu’s box set collection is inspired by the following...1.'Fire': Also named 'Tomato scrambled egg', a traditional Chinese dish. It is easy to make and Franklin takes it as his own connection between east and west. It is an easy dish but relates all Asian Americans together. 2.'Water': The main inspiration came from blue and white porcelains. Fish has the same pronunciation as Franklin's last name YU. One fish represents the grow-up experience in western society and the other one representing Franklin's Chinese origin. 3.'Wind': As a choreographer, Franklin has to take flights very often, he always dreams about clouds. He combines cloud that represents wind and rose in his masterpiece 'Spring Wind' and so in his sock design.
