Our good friends The Drowning Men announced today that they will be embarking on a lengthy tour to promote their new record, "All of the Unknown" on July 17th. Check em out, you will be glad you did.

Here at Stance, we receive fan mail that makes us smile, but one in particular stood out to us.

We recently donated socks to a teacher who wrote in asking for a few pair for his monthly auction. If students receive good grades and have good behavior, they get rewarded by being able to choose a prize. Last month we received a letter back from this teacher:

"I have a student in my class who doesn't want to give his best effort. He has a difficult time getting his homework done and often doesn't demonstrate appropriate behavior in class. We have had an auction every month since the 2nd month of school. Ever since I put the first few pairs of socks in my auction (the month of December) I started to notice a small change in this student's attitude. Well, at today's auction he purchased his first auction prize of the year, and as you can probably guess it was a pair of Stance socks (Lizard King glow in the dark). After the class was dismissed, my student approached me with tears in his eyes gave me a hug and said "thanks for the socks". It was one of the moments teachers live for. I thought you should know the impact your socks are having on my kids."

Apparently this same teacher was recently approached by a parent asking if their child could transfer into his class for the rest of the year, so they could have a chance at winning some auction prizes.

It's letters like this that make the crew here at Stance be thankful for where we work.
