Matt’s an artist and a skateboarder from Washington. He honed his art skill whilst in jail for graffiti and went on to work with artists such as Jim Phillips and VC Johnson at Pocket Pistols Skateboards.

“There was this story about how, when I was about two or so,” Matt says. “I did this scribble drawing and when my dad asked me what it was, I said it was a bear. Playing along, he asked me where the nose was. As the story goes, I said, ‘nose still in pencil’. My parents used to love to tell that one all the time.”
